Spay & Neuter Voucher

How It Works

Our spay/neuter program enables any pet owner (no income qualification required) to have their pet spayed or neutered for a base cost of $55. Here’s how:

Step 1:

Your cat or dog should be at least six months old and up-to-date with vaccinations. If vaccines are not current, make an appointment with a vet. You will be required to have proof of vaccinations at the time of the procedure.

Step 2:

Visit our offices at 935 Farm Road, Tuesday – Saturday between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed Sunday/Monday). You can choose from a list of participating vets (see below). You will pay at the Humane Society and receive a voucher for the vet you have selected.

Step 3:

You will take your pet, your voucher and proof of vaccination to the veterinary clinic at the appointed time. Additional services may be offered by the veterinarian at the time of surgery that are not included in the voucher price. For pets over 50 lbs or pets in heat, there could be an additional fee that is determined at the time of the vet appointment. Each vet service may have a different fee structure for animals over 50 lbs.
