Meredith is an extremely playful, outgoing, fun and loving kitten!
Playing and eating are the ways to Meredith's heart. She loves toys of any kind (but especially little simple toy mice) and loves to make everything a toy or a game. She'll watch tv, jump at your mouse cursor to play as you move it across your computer screen and dive into your newly opened Amazon boxes. Because she's always on the move, she can be a bit of a "door dasher" so caution when opening doors to the outside world is recommended! She loves to climb, so she would probably love having a cat tree with a scratching post in her new home! She is on the go nearly constantly, but when she finally gets tired out she is a lovebug who will lay beside you and fall asleep purring SO LOUDLY… in fact, she is nearly ALWAYS purring no matter what she's doing. Then, she'll wake with sweet sleepy headbutts on your hand. She's very talkative with a squeaky little meow as she follows you through the house ready for breakfast and love before she's on the move again. Meredith has loved other cats during her time in foster care, and she has no boundaries or fears! She will run right up to another cat in a "halloween cat" arched back, poofy tail stance, bat at them.. sometimes even run right into them and then bound off begging them to play with her.
She loves to eat and loves treats! She's currently free-feeding Fromm dry kitten food and eating 1 can of Fancy Feast kitten food per day (half a can in the morning and half at night). She's a growing girl. Her favorite treats are greenies and any of the lickable tube treats like Churus!
She's used the litter box in her foster home consistently with no issues, but is still a little one, so starting her off in the room her litter box will be permanently housed in while she gets used to her new surroundings is suggested.
Meredith is not a quiet and chill kitten – she is loads of fun, loads of energy, and loads of love. She is going to make a great best friend to someone who wants personality in their new family member and I think she would be really great for someone looking for a cat for their cat to play with.
