Luma is a beautiful young stray who came in alongside her friend Navy, and she's slowly but surely learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. At just under a year old and 27 lbs, she's the perfect medium size for just about any home. When Luma first arrived, she was incredibly shy and unsure of people, but every day she grows a little braver. With a few treats and a little patience, her sweet personality starts to shine through quickly. She absolutely loves other dogs and seems to gain confidence from having canine friends around her.
Luma also surprised us with how wonderfully she walks on leash. She is a smart girl and listens well to direction. She's the kind of dog that enjoys calmly exploring by your side.
This gorgeous girl is truly beautiful inside and out. She just needs a patient family willing to help her continue building confidence and discovering how good life can be.
