This 48-pound sweetheart is about a year old and full of life. He came to us as a stray with a leg injury, but it's healing well on its own-and you'd never know it from the way he runs, plays, and soaks up every moment. Hendrixx can be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, his goofy, affectionate personality shines through. He loves fetch in the yard, tug-of-war indoors, and chew toys of all kinds, but he also settles beautifully for cuddle time and quiet naps by your side.
Hendrixx has done well with some dog friends at the shelter, though like many young pups, he can get a little too enthusiastic in play, so he'd be happiest in a home without very young children. While in foster his foster mentioned how respectful he is with no accidents or destructive behaviors-and he's already showing off his good manners: crate trained, food motivated and walks nicely on leash.
