At 3 years old and around 70 lbs, Esther may have had a rough start after being abandoned, but you'd never know it from her gentle spirit and loving demeanor. From the moment she arrived at our shelter, she's greeted everyone with quiet affection and a calm presence that's truly special.
Though she's still settling in, Esther has shown us just how strong and sweet she really is. She may need a little time to adjust to new surroundings, but once she trusts you, she offers her whole heart in return. She's currently receiving treatment for heartworms – a bump in the road that we're helping her overcome.
Esther does have a curious, adventurous side – she's been known to try and explore beyond the yard, so a secure fence and a watchful eye will help keep her safe as she settles into her new home.
