Carmen's story began with hardship-this 1.5-year-old sweetheart was abandoned on our property alongside her best friend, Solo. Understandably, she arrived shy and unsure of the world, but every day she lets us see a little more of who she truly is. And what we're seeing is beautiful!
Carmen is a soft, sensitive soul who just needs time, patience, and kindness to feel safe. With each passing day, her walls come down a bit more, revealing glimpses of the sweet, goofy, loving girl she's becoming. She's already shown us how much she appreciates gentle voices, calm companionship, and the reassurance of a steady routine.
We know that in the right home-one that understands she may need time to settle-Carmen will blossom into the affectionate, joyful companion she's meant to be. She has so much love to give, and she's just waiting for someone willing to let her open up at her own pace.
