For many, it’s the most wonderful time of the year – the holiday season! While this season brings joy to so many people, the weather conditions and constant hustle and bustle can also end up leaving pets and homeless animals alike out in the cold. Last year, we put together a list of important reminders for pet owners during winter. This year, we’re discussing tips for helping outdoor and homeless animals you might see suffering in the cold. Baby, it’s cold outside! Once the weather finally starts feeling like winter, we won’t be the only ones to feel the chill. If it’s too cold for you to be outside, odds are that it is too cold for an animal. If left outdoors, dogs and cats can freeze, become disoriented, get lost, be stolen, become injured or even die. If you’re able to take the animal in and give it a warm, safe shelter, do so.
