Four fabulous feline happy tails

June is “Adopt a Shelter Cat Month,” and we’re celebrating by sharing the happy tails of four of our very own fabulous feline friends: Fawn, Veronicat, Chardonnay and Kick Off! Here are their stories:   Fawn Fawn lived injured on the streets for at least two weeks before she was brought to the Humane Society in late February. Our veterinary staff took X-rays and found she had a severe fracture in her right front leg and fragments from a pellet gun in her elbow and chest. Despite her suffering, Fawn was sweet and loving to all our medical staff! The broken leg was amputated, and after she healed and recovered, Fawn was ready for adoption. Less than two weeks later, she was adopted and joined a family with one other cat. Now, Fawn has human and feline family members to call her own!   Veronicat Veronicat was one of our long-term residents.
