Ahh! You’re reading this so you must be a fellow animal lover. Maybe you’re a big fan of dogs or maybe you’re more of a cat person. Or maybe you just cringe at the idea of any animal being abused, sick or injured. We depend on people like you with extra big hearts for all our support. There are many things you can do to help us in our mission:

Make a contribution

We rely solely on the generosity of individuals and corporations. Your $25 donation can feed a cat for a month, and $50 will cover a pet’s spay/neuter. We urge you to donate whatever you can and consider these methods of giving. For your convenience, you can donate securely online.

Volunteer

Make a difference while making friends. There are countless ways to volunteer: dog walking, providing a foster home, delivering community training, staffing a mobile adoption unit and more. See our volunteer options for inspiration. Just complete an application and we’ll see you at orientation.

Donate needed supplies

There are supplies our operations always need. You may have these items tucked away in a closet or a pantry. Or you could add some needed items to your shopping list. Items can be dropped off during our normal facility hours: Tuesday – Friday, 10 am – 6 pm; Saturday 10 am – 5 pm and Sunday 1 pm – 5 pm. The Humane Society is closed on Mondays.

Consider adoption

Adopting a pet is an important decision. When you are ready for the joy and commitment of pet ownership, we’re ready to help you select the right pet. We recommend you review the application consider the costs and take a look at the dogs and cats we have ready to go to a good home like yours.

Urge your friends to help

Tell your friends about the Humane Society and the many ways they can help. Use Facebook to spread the word about adoptable animals, our programs and fun events you can enjoy with friends.
